Program Description
The Teen Genre Book Club will meet monthly -- on various Saturdays -- to discuss a different genre of book, giving you more choice of what to read. Pick any book that fits the month's genre. If you'd like suggestions, inquire at the Help Desk or in TeenZone.
The monthly genres for 2026 are as follows:
- January 10: New Books (This meeting is at 10am; all other meetings of this club are at 11am.)
- February 14: Nonfiction
- March 14: Powerful Women
- April 11: Neurodiverse Novels
- May 9: Manga
- June 6: Summer Vacation
- July 18: Disability Awareness
- August 15: Action Adventure
- September 12: Banned Books
- October 10: Horror
- November 14: Science Fiction
- December 12: Short Story Collections
Registration is suggested and can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or by visiting the Help Desk at the Library and registering in person.
