Program Description

On Sunday, October 19, there will be an all-day PARTY FOR PUZZLE PEOPLE at BPL!  First up is our Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange where you trade in your tickets for donated puzzles for "new-to-you" puzzles.  Then, you'll want to test your puzzle skills in our Team Puzzle Challenge.  

TEAM PUZZLE CHALLENGE  
Put your skills to the test to see if you and your team can finish a 500-piece puzzle the fastest! Registration is required (1 person from each team only). Beginning September 29, registration can be completed below. 

RULES: 

  • There will be room for a maximum of 10 teams. 

  • Each team can include 2-4 players of all different ages. 

  • Only 1 person from each team should register. (The number of players on the team will need to be entered when registering.) 

  • Each team will receive the same 500-piece puzzle for the challenge. 

  • Teams will have 2 hours to complete the puzzle. If no team has completed the puzzle within the allotted time, the remaining loose pieces (anything not connected to the main puzzle) will be counted. The team with the fewest loose pieces remaining will be declared the winner. 

  • Prizes will be awarded to the 3 top teams.

Hearing Device Assistance

To accommodate hard-of-hearing patrons, the library offers the use of assistive listening devices in each Community Room and in each Children’s Program Room. For these devices to work, the presenter must use the room’s sound system. For the clearest sound, make sure the device is unobstructed by clothing or jewelry and sit in the first few rows.
