Program Description

The Olive Bin After Hours:
A Culinary Presentation (with sampler)

Olive oil and vinegar is a dynamic duo in the kitchen with ancient origins and health benefits! Join Traci Howe, owner of The Olive Bin, to learn more about incorporating heart-healthy oils and vinegars into your diet in surprising and tasty ways.

The first 50 registrants (one per household, please) will be able to pick up from the The Olive Bin a carefully selected, individual-sized sampler kit. Participants will use the kit as they embark on a tasting adventure during a special culinary Zoom program hosted by Traci.

Those interested in taking part in this program without receiving a sampler kit may sign up for the program at bit.ly/bplolivenosampler

Those who successfully register to receive the sampler kit will need to go to The Olive Bin between September 18-22 to pick up the kit. (NOTE: The Olive Bin is closed on Mondays.)

KITS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE AT THE OLIVE BIN; KITS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE LIBRARY.

  • It is not necessary to obtain the sampler kit to enjoy the program.
  • This program will not be recorded.
  • If you have the sampler, you'll want to have some tasty bread cubes, ice water, and (optional!) ice cream on hand for the culinary program.

Registration is required and can be completed online below, by phoning 309.590.6168, or by visiting the Adult Services Desk at the Library and registering in person.
