In-Person Program

Program Description

Calling all plant people!

Plant lovers are invited to bring to the library's patio any plants, cuttings, and seeds to share, and then take new plants home. Attendees will have an opportunity to introduce plants to their new parent and share information such as the plant's name and its light, soil, and water preferences. If attendees have extra pots or plant supplies to share, bring those as well.

We'll be sharing our plants and seeds on the library's patio. Attendees may also want to register for the Macrame Plant Hanger craft that will be going on next door from 11am-noon in Community Room 3! Beginning April 18, required registration for the macrame program can be completed at bit.ly/macrame0502

No registration is needed for the Houseplant Swap.

Please note: The McLean County Extension Office has advised us not to share outdoor garden plants (dug up from your yard) at our plant swaps due to the invasive jumping worm in McLean county.  Please only bring houseplants, cuttings, and seeds!
