  • Our book return drop box will be relocated to the area outside of the Olive Street entrance.

This closure will allow us to apply asphalt to our parking lot.

Digital Artober Kickoff

Allowed Ages: 12 to 18
Allowed Grades: 6th Grade to 12th Grade

During the Digital Artober Kickoff event, participants will receive an overview of GIMP and be given a chance to create their own artwork. Images created during this kickoff program will count toward the first prompt entry of the month-long Digital Artober Contest in which teens can participate for a chance to win one of two WACOM Intuos tablets. This program will meet online via Zoom.

Online registration for this program can be completed below. You may also register by calling 309.590.6168 or by visiting the Adult Services Desk at the Library and registering in person. As soon as registration is complete, you will receive an email with a link to access the online discussion. 

Participants should visit gimp.org/downloads/ and download GIMP prior to the start of this program.
