Program Description

Using music inspired by the book The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat by Edward Kelsey Moore, we’ll play a rousing game of Musical Bingo!

This isn't your usual game of Bingo. Musical Bingo is a fun game where players listen to short snippets of songs and mark off the corresponding titles on their Bingo cards, hoping to be the first to get a winning pattern and shout, "BINGO!"

We’ll play anything from Motown’s greatest hits to classical piano sonatas in this event that will be entertaining for the whole family.

During the registration window for this program, registration can be completed online below. You may also register by calling 309.590.6168 or by visiting the Help Desk at the Library and registering in person.

Questions about this program can be emailed to Marcie at reference@bloomingtonlibrary.org.

During Bloomington Reads, the library provides many copies of a featured book title in multiple formats. Area residents are encouraged to read the title, discuss it with their peers, and attend corresponding programs which will focus on themes found in the book. The 2026 programming series will culminate with an author presentation on Thursday, April 23, at 6pm at the library.

Hearing Device Assistance

To accommodate hard-of-hearing patrons, the library offers the use of assistive listening devices in each Community Room and in each Children’s Program Room. For these devices to work, the presenter must use the room’s sound system. For the clearest sound, make sure the device is unobstructed by clothing or jewelry and sit in the first few rows.
If you experience connectivity issues, please let a staff member know. A guide on using the assistive listening devices is available.
