  • The Bookmobile will make all its stops.
  • Our book return drop box will be relocated to the area outside of the Olive Street entrance.

This closure will allow us to apply asphalt to our parking lot.

Program Description

Lincoln Craft

A colorful, Lincoln-themed craft will be available in the Children’s Department during all the Library's open hours from July 12-17.

This craft includes the creation of an 8.5" x 14" block letter writing of Lincoln’s name along with a bag of colorful paper to decorate.

There is no need to register in advance.

Lincoln’s Festival Committee is pleased to present activities celebrating Abraham Lincoln and Route 66’s legacy in Bloomington-Normal. 

On Saturday, July 17, join the McLean County Museum of History, Bloomington Public Library, David Davis Mansion, and the Prairie Chickens Base Ball Team of McLean County for a variety of programs (most of which are free) that will appeal to all ages.
