Beginning Tuesday, October 3, the following library items will temporarily move into storage:

  • MOST MOVIES
  • ALL MUSIC CDs
  • ALL CHILDREN’S AUDIOBOOKS

This action is necessary as we prepare to move into the west side of the building. We believe that items moved to storage will remain unavailable for the next 2-4 weeks.

Program Description

Your IRA and You

What is the difference between an IRA, a 401K, a 403B, and a 457 plan? What about Traditional vs. Roth IRAs? This program will help you learn about these various plans. If you have a retirement plan in place, this program will explain how to access money before age 59 1/2. It will also cover estate planning with IRAs.

Registration is required and can be completed below, by calling 309.590-6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.

This program is offered in partnership with the Institute for Financial Education. This group consists of area financial planners who volunteer to provide free financial literacy programs to the community.
