Program Description

Woven CD Dream Catchers

Crafting and technology will merge in this program as teens receive separate history lessons about dream catchers and Compact Disc (CD) technology before learning to create dream catchers using CDs, yarn, beads, and other embellishments.

Supplies kits will be provided and will need to be picked up in advance. When your kit is ready, you will receive an email with details about pick up -- including a pickup deadline. Please do not come to the library to pick up your kit until you've received this email. Supply kits will include a Compact Disc (CD), yarn, beads, glue, and additional embellishments.

Registration is required and is limited to 15 teens. Registration will open at 9am on Monday, February 28, and can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.

The program will take place virtually over Zoom. Those who register will receive the Zoom link in their confirmation email.

Each teen will need to supply their own pair of scissors.
