Program Description

Teen Manga & Anime Club

Teens in Grades 6-12 will meet virtually on Zoom with fellow manga and anime fans during this first meeting of Bloomington Library's Teen Manga & Anime Club! On February 3, the group will discuss Haikyu by Haruichi Furudateas well as any other manga or anime attendees have recently read/watched.

Registration can be completed online below or by calling 309.590.6168. Upon completion of registration, you will receive a confirmation email which includes a link to this Zoom discussion.

If you register for this program and are put on the waitlist, please note that you WILL receive a Zoom invite to the meeting. However, due to the popularity of the inaugural meeting of this club the library is running low on copies of of Haikyu. If a copy of the book is available, it will be set aside for you to check out from Curbside Pickup. (Please don't head to Curbside Pickup until you've received notice via email that your copy of the book is ready and waiting.) If you are unable to obtain a copy of Haikyu, it is available to watch as an Anime on the free streaming service CrunchyRoll.

Teens who would like to give input about the manga/anime the club will watch/read and discuss in the future are invited to take our survey at bit.ly/bplteensurvey.
