Beginning Tuesday, October 3, the following library items will temporarily move into storage:

  • ALL MUSIC CDs
  • ALL CHILDREN’S AUDIOBOOKS

This action is necessary as we prepare to move into the west side of the building. We believe that items moved to storage will remain unavailable for the next 2-4 weeks.

Magnetic Poetry: Take & Make Craft

Teens in grades 6-12 can celebrate National Poetry Month with this take-and-make craft!

Registration is required and is limited to 40 teens. A craft kit will be reserved for those who register and will be available for pickup through April 30 at either Curbside Pickup or the Adult Services Desk. During the registration window for this program, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.

Craft kits include magnet strips, poetry words, and written instructions. Teens will need to provide scissors. No online instruction – neither pre-recorded nor live – will be provided.
