Program Description

DIY Sock Squishmallow

By taking part in this take-and-make craft, teens in grades 6-12 can create their very own version of a mini squishmallow. Kits will be reserved for the first 50 teens to register. An email with details about picking up the kit -- including a pickup deadline -- will follow registration. During registration, registrants will indicate if they’d like to pick up their kit at Drive Up Lane, on the Bookmobile, or at the Checkout Desk. Beginning May 1, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.

Craft kits will contain: 1 needle threader, 2 mini sewing kits, 1 sock, 1 handful of stuffing, 1 large piece of white felt, 1 small piece of black felt, 1 small piece of pink felt, and written instructions. Participants will need to provide their own scissors.
