By taking part in this take-and-make craft, teens can create a set of easy and adorable Snowman decorations for the winter months. Kits will be reserved for the first 50 teens who register. An email with details about picking up the kit -- including a pickup deadline -- will follow registration. During registration, registrants will indicate if they’d like to pick up their kit at the Drive Up Lane, on the Bookmobile, or at the Check Out Desk. Beginning Dec. 19, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.
Craft kits will contain: 2 battery-operated tealights, 2 silver tinsel chenille stems, 4 assorted tinsel pom pons, 2 ribbons, 8 black self-adhesive rhinestones, orange craft paint, paintbrush, craft glue*, and written instructions.
Participants will need to provide their own scissors and *glue gun (optional but works better than craft glue).
No online instruction – either pre-recorded nor live – will be provided.
