Think "escape room", except instead of trying to break out, you're trying to BREAK IN!
A break-in kit will be reserved for the first 40 teens who register. The kit will include three puzzles and a locked loot bag. The puzzles will need to be solved to find a numeric code which will open the lock on the loot bag and free your loot!
An email with details about picking up the kit -- including a pickup deadline -- will be sent upon registration. During the registration process, participants will be asked to indicate if they’d like to pick up their kit at Curbside Pickup, on the Bookmobile, or at the Adult Services Desk.
Beginning November 15, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk. Please do not come to the library to pick up your kit until you've received an email telling you that the kit is ready. Once your kit is ready, you'll be able to pick it up any time the library is open. Of note: The library will close at 5pm on November 24, and will remain closed all day on November 25 & 26 for Thanksgiving.
