On the day of the closure ...

  • The Bookmobile will make all its stops.
  • Our book return drop box will be relocated to the area outside of the Olive Street entrance.

This closure will allow us to apply asphalt to our parking lot.

Summer Reading Program

The 2023 Summer Reading Program at Bloomington Public Library will run from Tuesday, May 30 to Monday, July 31.

During the program, kids, teens, and adults read for fun and to earn prizes! Beginning May 30, you can pick up a reading log at the library, at any Bookmobile stop, or you can print your log from home by visiting bit.ly/bplsrp2023.

Completed reading logs are due back no later than Monday, July 31. All those who return a completed reading log will receive a completion prize pack. Teens and adults will also be entered into prize drawings to win a gift card to a local business. The prize drawings will take place Tuesday, August 1.
