STREAM on Zoom: El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros

Join us for STREAM on Zoom as we celebrate Dia! El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros (which in English means "Children’s Day, Book Day"). We’ll celebrate with books, songs, crafts, and other fun activities. Supplies will be available for pickup in advance.

Registration is required to participate. During the registration window for this program, registration can be completed online below or by calling 309.590.6155. 

Register by 12pm on Friday, April 16, to reserve a craft packet. In addition to receiving a confirmation email including the Zoom link to the online program, registrants will receive a second email notifying them when their craft packet is ready for pick-up from the Children's Services Desk or Curbside Service. Please wait for the second email before arriving at the library to pickup your packet.

Craft Packets will include: 

  • Paper Plate
  • String
  • Paper
  • Craft Sticks
  • Crayons
  • Jewels/Stickers
  • Glue Stick
  • Glitter Glue
  • Googly Eyes

Participants will need to supply their own scissors. 

This program is suitable for children age 3-11 years. Children under the age of 5 years should be supervised and assisted by a parent and/or guardian during the entire program.
