Program Description

Preserve Your Summer Tomatoes

Nothing beats a home-grown tomato fresh off the vine! Yet when you have more fresh tomatoes than you can eat, you might wonder what to do with them. Join Andrea Pracht of My Kitchen Clatter as she demonstrates preserving tomatoes by water bath canning, freezing, and dehydrating. Learn how to preserve your tomatoes to enjoy them in the winter months!

The class includes information on food safety, recipe sources, and recommendations on how to store your newly canned goods.
