On the day of the closure ...

  • The Bookmobile will make all its stops.
  • Our book return drop box will be relocated to the area outside of the Olive Street entrance.

This closure will allow us to apply asphalt to our parking lot.

Plant Swap

Plant Swap

Bring to the Library’s North Patio any plants, cuttings, and seeds you’d like to share; then take home some new plants for yourself! During the swap, you’ll be able to introduce your plant to its new parent. Be ready to share information like its name and its light, soil, and water preferences. 

Please label plants before the swap to save yourself some time.

  • 2pm: Plants will be set out for viewing,
  • 2:30pm: Swapping starts
    (Don’t be late! The swapping goes fast and can be over in a matter of minutes!)

If you’re in need of help keeping your plants happy, you can swap tips with other plant parents and check out a plant care book or two. 

The plant swap will coincide with a Spider Plant Craft for Kids which requires registration. If you’ll be bringing kids to the swap with you, and you want to register them for the craft, visit bit.ly/bplplantcraft1003.

There is no need to register to take part in the Plant Swap.
