Program Description

The History of James Taylor & Carly Simon

Legendary artist James Taylor turns 75 this month, and to celebrate, we're bringing back popular rock n' roll historian Gary Wenstrup!

In the early 1970s, singer-songwriters Taylor & Carly Simon ruled the radio. The era’s ultimate power couple were husband and wife. Using performance and interview clips, Wenstrup will trace the arc of their careers from Fire and Rain and You’re So Vain to Shower the People and Anticipation. The marriage didn’t last, but the hits sure have!
