Program Description

Meditation for a More Balanced Life  

People all over the world are embracing meditation to help them lead a more peaceful and healthy life. Scientific studies have proven that the practice of meditation provides deep relaxation to the body which helps reduce stress and tension.

During this program, attendees will learn a simple and natural method of meditation that will help enhance their lives. Please join Arlene Samsel, long time meditator, for this powerful program which includes an opportunity to try out the method being taught.

Registration is ONLY REQUIRED for online participants and can be completed online below, in person at the Help Desk, or by calling 309.590.6168.  Those who attend the program at the library will also be viewing the program virtually; the presenter will not be in person at the library.

About the Presenter
Arlene Samsel is uniquely qualified and experienced in meditation, public speaking, and the performing arts. She has been meditating for 25 years and has given many meditation workshops and retreats which has enabled her to speak firsthand about the crucial role of meditation in enhancing the daily lives of busy people. Arlene and her husband have raised a family of 3 children and reside in New Brighton, Minnesota.
