Program Description

Teens will have the opportunity to learn the basics of one of the most popular 3D modeling programs, SketchUp. The free version that teens will use is robust, easy to use, and an ideal place to start learning about the software. Types of projects that teens can explore are architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and video game design, including drawing layout functionality, surface rendering, and more.

Each teen will need to create an account at Trimble, preferably before the class begins.

Registration is limited to 15 teens, opens at 9am on Monday, September 26, and can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.

The program will take place virtually on Zoom. Those who register will receive a link to the program in their registration confirmation email.

Questions regarding registration can be emailed to techprogramming@bloomingtonlibrary.org.
