Program Description

Green Screens and other Photography Tricks

The dawn of green screens in photography began almost 90 years ago but became widely used when digital photography replaced analog. This program covers the history of green screens and photography along with other photography tricks that will help any amateur photographer step up their skills.

During this program, Teens will practice green screen methodology and other photography solutions. Green screen supplies will be reserved for those who register and can be picked up at the Circulation Desk. Please do not come to the library to pick up your supplies until you've received an email stating that they are ready. Each teen needs to have a digital camera or phone that takes pictures.

Registration is required and limited to 15 teens. Registration opens at 9am on Monday, March 28. During the registration window for this program, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk. The program will take place virtually on Zoom. Those who register will receive a link to access the program in their registration confirmation email. Those who register will also need to download GIMP (www.gimp.org) before class begins.
