Program Description

GIMP Patterns & Face Mask Design

If you've ever wondered how repeating patterns are created for use on wrapping papers, fabrics, or website backgrounds, the answers will be revealed in this virtual class for teens. Participants will learn the techniques used to create their own repeating pattern using GIMP, an open-source image editor. Participants will then upload their creations to a website and will eventually receive a face mask which showcases their pattern.

Registration is required and is limited to 10 participants. Those who register will  need to download GIMP (www.gimp.org) before class begins.

During the registration window for this program, registration will be able to be completed online below. Those who register for this program will be sent a link to this Zoom program in their confirmation email.

Questions regarding registration can be emailed to techprogramming@bloomingtonlibrary.org.
