Program Description
DIY Canvas Thread Art
Teens will incorporate the use of color, drawing, and original design to create something meaningful while learning the basics of thread art using a plastic needle, string, and a framed 5x7 canvas.
A supply kit will be reserved for those who register and will need to be picked up at the library's Circulation Desk. Please do not come to the library to pick up your kit until you've received an email stating that your kit is ready. Kits will include a framed canvas, a plastic needle, several colors of string, and a link to instructions for creating the thread art project.
Registration will open at 9am on Monday, March 14, and can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.
Each teen might benefit from having a pair of scissors to cut the string.
No in person, pre-recorded, nor live instruction will be provided.
