Diversity Mural

Join us in celebrating Black History Month! As you visit the Children's Department during the month of February, you'll have an opportunity to create a self-portrait to add to our Diversity Mural. We also encourage you to view our bulletin boards and displays featuring information about influential African Americans and to check out books highlighting African American authors, illustrators, and characters.

Note: Supplies for self-portraits will be provided and available during regular library hours at the craft table in the Children's Department. To learn more about Black History Month and the relevant resources Bloomington Public Library has to offer, please speak with library staff or visit the library's website and explore its online resources.
