Central Illinois' True Crime Stories

Amanda Vicary, an Associate Professor at Illinois Wesleyan University, incorporates true crime into her research and her psychology courses. In fact, she has become a highly sought-after expert in the true crime community. Amanda will explain why people, especially women, are drawn to true crime books and podcasts. She’ll also cover two Bloomington murder cases in which the men convicted are currently represented by innocence projects.
