Celebration of India

Join us for "Celebration of India", a vibrant event honoring the rich cultural heritage of our local Indian community! This exciting celebration will feature Indian folk music, traditional dance performances, live demonstrations of Indian fashion, and beautiful displays of traditional Indian art.

Children will have the opportunity to enjoy hands-on crafts and activities, while everyone can learn about India’s diverse states and cultural traditions, including the festival of Diwali. 

Community participation is encouraged.
If you would like to be part of the day’s fashion show or the day’s talent show, please sign up for these activities at bit.ly/indiaparticipation25. The fashion show is limited to child participants. The talent show seeks participants of all ages.

This event was a beloved annual tradition at Bloomington Public Library for seven years, with the last celebration held in 2019. Don't miss this chance to experience the vibrant culture of India in our community!
