Program Description

A Boy Called Bat Library Activities

Visit the Children's Department during regular library hours between February 5-16 to participate in activities inspired by the book A Boy Called Bat by Elana K. Arnold. And, while supplies last, you'll earn a prize for your efforts!

This program is brought to you by Bloomington Public Library in tandem with Oakland School, which is participating in the One School, One Book program. Via One School, One Book, Oakland School provides each family in its enrollment with a copy of the book A Boy Called Bat. Non-Oakland students will be happy to hear that Bloomington Library offers this book for checkout in the following formats: physical book, eBook, eAudiobook, and as a Playaway.

Note: No registration is needed for this drop-in program. Prizes will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, while supplies last. Due to construction and limited space, this program may not be suitable for large groups.

Questions about this program can be emailed to Ms. Alysha at childrensstaff@bloomingtonlibrary.org.
