Program Description

Back to Work: An Introduction to Microsoft Word

This class will introduce word processing using Microsoft Office Word. Participants will learn to create, format, save and print a document, as well as learning the difference between "save" and "save as". We'll also cover tasks such as text justification, font and formatting, inserting an image, hyperlinking, and creating documents from templates. This class is for people who have little or no experience using Microsoft Office Word.

Registration is required, limited to 20 people, and can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.

This program was partially funded by a grant from Bouncing Back from the Pandemic: Developing Resources for the Local Workforce, which provides funds from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) to support libraries in providing essential resources and services to those seeking employment.
