Summer Reading 2020 will run from Tuesday, May 26-Monday, July 27. This year's theme is Dig Deeper: Read, Investigate, Discover!.

Bloomington Public Library's annual Summer Reading Program begins May 26!

Reading logs will become available online on Tuesday, May 26. (Links are posted below).

Reading logs can also be picked up at the Library’s curbside hold pickup after May 26.

Reading logs will be available at the Library and on the Bookmobile after May 26 and when services are able to resume at those locations.

If you are unable to print a reading log from home and you have no plans to visit our curbside pickup, please view the reading log for your age group at the link below (after May 26) and track your reading on any piece of paper you find lying around your home.

The Library's Summer Program Guide includes details about the programs BPL hopes to offer this summer and is available online only at bit.ly/bplsummer2020.

At this time, Library programs have been cancelled through June 30. The online Program Guide will be updated as additional changes develop.

Summer Reading is for kids, teens, and adults, and completion prizes will be awarded to all who complete the program by July 27. Teens and adults who finish the program will also enter into drawings for prizes with those winners being drawn on Tuesday, July 28.

Reading Logs

Please click the link below which corresponds with the age group of the reading log you'd like to print. Additionally, please print one log for each family member who wishes to participate in the Summer Reading Program).

Dates to Remember:

May 26: Reading logs will be available at the Library's curbside hold pickup and will also be posted online so they can be printed from home.
TBD: Reading logs will be available at the Library and on the Bookmobile when services resume in those locations.
July 6: Summer Readers can begin to claim their Summer Reading Prize Packs.
July 27: Final day to turn in a completed Summer Reading Log and claim a completion prize pack.
July 28: Winners of our teen and adult prize drawings will be drawn.
