Program Description

Teen Winter Art Challenge

Teens in Grades 6-12 who are interested in showing off their artistic and creative abilities with a chance to win free art supplies are encouraged to register for our Teen Winter Art Challenge. This 12-week challenge will allow participants to practice, improve, and showcase their talents by participating in weekly art events.

Though registration is not required, those who do register will be emailed an art prompt each Friday through March 26. (Weekly prompts will also be posted to the teenZone Facebook Page.) Teens will need to use their own art supplies for their creations.

Registration – for those who’d like to receive the art prompts (via email) – can be completed online below or by calling 309.590.6168. All levels of artistic ability are welcome. Submissions can be posted to Facebook or sent via email to tiffanyl@bloomingtonlibrary.org.

At the program’s conclusion, all the submissions from each week’s prompt will be entered into a drawing with several winners receiving art supply gift cards to Michael’s. The drawing will take place on Monday, April 5.
