Parking Lot & Drive-Up Lane

For the foreseeable future, patrons will need to both enter and exit the library’s parking lot from the east. The west half of the lot will be blocked off for construction.

  • The southernmost lane will serve as the entrance. Patrons need to make an immediate left upon entering the lot.
  • The northernmost lane will serve as the exit.

A Drive-Up Lane has been added to the southeast corner of the building. Patrons using the Drive-Up Lane must put items on hold in advance. Signage marks the lane and provides instruction.

Program Description

Clay Leaf Bowls: Take & Make Craft

By taking part in this take-and-make craft, teens can create fall-inspired decorative bowls.

Kits will be reserved for the first 40 teens who register. An email with details about picking up the kit -- including a pickup deadline -- will follow registration. During registration, registrants will indicate if they’d like to pick up their kit at Curbside Pickup, on the Bookmobile, or at the Adult Services Desk. Beginning October 4, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.

Craft kits will contain: air drying clay, markers, toothpicks, mod podge, and a paint brush. Participants will need to provide their own rolling instrument, plastic knife, and large leaves (the kind that fall from trees).

No online instruction – neither pre-recorded nor live – will be provided.
