Be one of the lucky few to help us test out the tech version of Tales for Tails!
This program pairs trained and certified therapy dogs with children in grades K-5 who want to practice reading aloud.
If you happen to like October because it includes Halloween, you're extra lucky because our volunteer dog will be the white Maltese, Casper!
There will be 4 time slots available for kids to meet Casper and read to him live via Zoom:
Our plan is to have even more of our Tales for Tails volunteer teams set up to Zoom with you in the future! If you miss these October sessions, keep an eye out for future sessions.
During the registration window for this program, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6155, or by visiting the Children's Services Desk at the Library and registering in person. Miss Alex will personally email those who register to assign them a time slot and to share with them the Zoom link needed to access the program.
