Program Description

Books 'n Bites

Savor a snack while we speak about stories. Tuck into a tasty treat while we talk about tales.

You don't need to prepare anything in advance for Books 'n Bites. However, you're more than welcome to enjoy a tasty treat or two while we talk. And if you have a good book you'd like to share, let us know during the discussion.

This month, we will celebrate Children's Book Week (which spans November 9-15), talk about our favorite authors using brilliant websites/videos, go over eBooks and eAudiobooks, and look at some favorite new chapter books to arrive at the library!

Ms. Alex used to get to visit Sheridan Elementary School in person where she would spend the lunch hour talking about books with Ms. Zehr and students in the school library. Now, Ms. Alex is bringing Books 'n Bites to you via Zoom.

During the registration window for this program, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6155, or by visiting the Children's Services Desk at the Library and registering in person. As soon as registration is complete, you will receive an email with a link to access the online discussion.
