Bloomington Public Library offers curbside pickup for patrons who are on the go or who are unable to enter the library. Items put on hold in advance can be delivered to a patron’s parked car by Library staff. Before heading to the library, Patrons should confirm the items they’ve put on hold are available.
Patrons must wear a face covering that covers both their mouth and their nose when interacting with Library staff.
The library will call, text, or email a patron when their requested items are ready to be picked up. Whether you receive a call, text, or email depends on your chosen notification preference.
Upon arrival, enter the parking lot from the southwest side of the building, take an immediate left, and drive under the overhang to the area where parking spaces are designated to curbside pickup and include instructional signage.
Once parked, a patron will text 309.310.5076 to notify staff of their arrival. Via text, the patron will provide staff with their name and parking spot number so staff can retrieve the patron’s items, check the items out to the patron’s account, and deliver the items to the patron’s vehicle.
