Battle of the Bands

The Rules

  • Registration is available to bands made up of teenagers ages 12-18
  • A sample of the band's music should be included with the registration form if possible. This can be a casette, CD, or if submitted online an audio file or YouTube link
  • If more bands register than are able to be accommodated by the Library, the list of performers will be narrowed down by the Library.
  • Bands will perform a music set not to exceed 15-20 minutes
  • Music sets will be performed between 2 & 4 PM on Saturday, October 23 in the Library's Community Room
  • Registrants must bring their own equipment to the Battle
  • Winner of Battle of the Bands will be hired to play at the 2011 Summer Reading Party in the Park. A small stipend will be allowed for the band that plays at the park
  • Set-up on October 23 is slated for 1 PM
  • Only clean language will be allowed
  • Judges TBD
