Outreach Services
The Outreach Services offers a variety of offsite services. The Bookmobile visits 42 locations every three weeks. Our Home Delivery Service will bring books to your home if you live in Bloomington and are unable to come to the library.
Deposit Collections are delivered on a rotating schedule to nursing homes and child care centers. A large variety of Bi-Folkal Kits are offered to nursing homes and retirement groups for programming with older adults. We register eligible customers for the Talking Books program. For residents in the Golden Prairie Public Library District (Arrowsmith, Bloomington, Dale, Dawson, and Old Town Townships) we offer paperbacks through the Books-By-Mail program. We also provide Golden Prairie Public Library District residents with special programs throughout the year.
