Interlibrary Loan Request

The library attempts to purchase materials you will be interested in, but sometimes we miss something. If you would like to request the interlibrary loan of an item, please verify your eligibility below. Interlibrary loan is the process by which a library requests material from or supplies material to another library. The purpose of Interlibrary Loan is to obtain, upon request of a library customer, items not available at the customer’s local library. Please read more about Interlibrary Loan before submitting your request.

Who may use Interlibrary Loan

The Bloomington Public Library provides Interlibrary Loan service for customers living inside the Bloomington city limits, Old Town, Arrowsmith, Dale, Dawson, and Bloomington townships.
