The Bloomington Public Library Summer Reading Program is open to people of all ages – infants to senior citizens. In other words, we’ve got programs for children, teens, and adults! Registration for this year’s program begins June 2 at the library, on the Bookmobile and online at www.BloomingtonLibrary.org.

Summer Reading Program is Sunday, July 27!
Children’s Summer Reading Program
For ages infant through 11 years old
- Children can complete the program in one of three ways: read 25 books; listen to someone read 25 books; or read for 15 hours.
- Turn in your reading log at the Children’s department or on the Bookmobile to claim your prize pack!
- Claim your grand prizes between June 16 and August 3.
- One grand prize package will be awarded per child. The last day to pick up prizes is August 3.

teenZone Summer Reading Program
For teens headed into grades six through twelve
- Teens complete the program by reading seven books in seven weeks.
- All teens will win a small prize upon completion of the program.
- In addition, their names will be entered into a drawing for the following prizes: Sony PSP, mini DV camera, MP3 player, digital camera, gift cards and books. The drawing will be held by August 5.

Adult Summer Reading Program
- Adult participants will record the books they read on a Bingo card that can be found in the Summer Reading Program log.
- For each row completed and reported to the staff at the Adult Services Desk or on the Bookmobile, the participant will be entered into a prize drawing for gift cards/certificates to area restaurants, golf courses, bowling alleys and more.
- That drawing will be held no later than August 5.
