A Tale for Two Cities

A Tale for Two Cities 2008 – a community-wide reading initiative that aims to get residents of Bloomington and Normal to read and discuss the same book – has come to a close.

Thank you to all those who came out to the BCPA to hear Mary Doria Russell speak about her book, A Thread of Grace.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar for next April when we’ll do it again with Sara Gruen and her book Water for Elephants at A Tale for Two Cities 2009.

I thoroughly enjoyed the author presentation. I gained a greater appreciation for the book hearing about the author's research. I learned a lot about the Italians and Italian Jews during her presentation. I am so glad I took the time to go to her presentation. Thank you. Susan
