The Library is hosting an 18-hole miniature golf tournament that will take place inside the Library! We will run greens through our Children's Department, our Adult Services Department, our Lower Level Lobby and our Community Room!
Presale tickets for the event can be purchased for $4 each at the Library's Circulation Desk or on the Bookmobile until April 17, 2010. Tickets purchased the day of the event - Sunday, April 18, 2010 - will cost $5 per player. A maximum of 650 tickets will be sold. Door prizes will be given away every 15 minutes throughout the tournament. Additionally, one adult and one child will each walk away with a grand prize that will have a value of at least $250. Grand prizes will be awarded via random drawing of participants.
The tournament will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m, with the last group of golfers teeing off no later than 5 p.m. Those interested in donating prizes or sponsoring holes, tables or goodie bags can call Rhonda Massie at 557-8991 or email her at RhondaM@Bloomingtonlibrary.org.
