Classics Collection
In order to provide the community with a balance of classic texts, both contemporary and historical, the Bloomington Public Library offers its users the newly expanded Classics Collection. Comprised of more than 300 titles, this collection strives to include texts from the American and English canons, contemporary texts required of local schools, and many translated works representative of classic international literature.
The Classics Collection is intended for our teen and adult readers, college bound students, high school student assignments, or just people who want to broaden their horizons and enjoy a highly regarded book.
Remaining true to the existing Classics Collection, recent and future additions to the collection will be in easy to handle, trade paperback format. Requests for additional titles are accepted by asking a librarian at the Reference Desk.
