Books in Large Print
The Bloomington Public Library has an extensive collection of popular fiction, nonfiction, and biography titles available in large print. Titles in large print have a print size of at least 14 point font, making it easier for those with visual impairments to enjoy new releases or their favorite author.
How to find large print titles available at the Bloomington Public Library
- Click on “Catalog” in the Find box on the library’s homepage.
- Click on “Power Search” on the online catalog search screen (located in lower center – circled in red)
- On the resulting Advanced Search screen, fill in the fields as shown below:
- First drop down menu “words or phrases” type: large
- Change second drop down to “words or phrases”, and type: print
- Click on “Search” to see a list of large print titles the library owns. The resulting list shows the newest titles first.
- The “sort by” option can be changed by clicking on the check box to reveal other choices such as author and title.
