Pop-Up Adventure Play, 10am

Join us in the Community Room for Pop-Up Adventure Play! We will offer a morning session at 10am for children going into grades K-2 and a 1pm afternoon session for those going into grades 3-5.

Winter is Here! Game of Thrones Party, 2pm

Those age 17+ are invited to join us for games and trivia in celebration of the new season of Game of Thrones. Meet from 2-3:30pm in the Community Room.

Summer DIY Crafts for Teens: Bouncy Balls, 1:30pm

Those entering grades 6-12 are invited to make Bouncy Balls at 1:30pm in the Community Room. There’s no need to register, and all supplies will be provided.

Lapsit story time is geared for one-on-one play and group activities. Bring a blanket and wear comfy clothes to this 6:30pm program in the Story Room. Please make other arrangements for older siblings.

We wanted our last story time of the summer to be extra special, so we invited “The Dulcimer Guy!” -- renowned musician and storyteller Mike Anderson. Meet at 10am in the Community Room.

Tonight at 6:30pm on the Library’s Patio we’ll enjoy music from “The Dulcimer Guy” — Mike Anderson.

Tales for Tails, 6pm

Tales for Tails pairs certified therapy dogs with children in grades K-5 who want practice reading aloud. Come to the Children’s Desk between 6pm and 7pm to be assigned a 10-minute session with a dog.

LEGO Construction Time, 6-8pm

Children ages 5-11 years old can drop into the Story Room between 6pm and 8pm to explore their inner builder. Duplo blocks will be available for our youngest builders in the preschool area.

Touch A Truck: Summer Reading Program End Party

We’re collaborating with the City of Bloomington to host a Touch-a-Truck Party to end Summer Reading. See and touch emergency vehicles, a backhoe, a garbage truck, a snow plow, the bookmobile, and more!
